Background

Psychiatrist

Triple board-certified in Psychiatry, Psychosomatic Medicine, and Addiction Medicine. He completed his Psychiatry Residency at Richmond University Medical Center (Mount Sinai affiliate) and his Psychosomatic Medicine Fellowship at Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University.

EXPERIENCE

A recognized educator and thought leader, Dr. Zverinskiy has developed and delivered curricula on psychopharmacology for psychiatry residents, supervised medical students, and presented nationally on topics ranging from pain management in opioid-dependent patients to physician burnout prevention and primary care–mental health integration. His clinical excellence has been honored with multiple “Top Doctor” awards in addiction medicine and geriatric psychiatry, as well as repeated Attending of the Year recognition. A Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Society of Addiction Medicine, he is fluent in English and Russian and remains deeply committed to advancing compassionate, evidence-based, and integrated behavioral health care.

I want to give credit to this facility. Every experience ive had with staff has been amazing. Also, Jason D. has been wonderful. He listens to his patients and in my own opinion, he shows he cares. He doesn't try to pull you in a direction as far as medication therapy that he thinks will work for you. He is open to trying new things that you suggest but willing to stick with what is working for you. I switched to regional after my previous doctor's office refused to take my insurance, demanding I pay out of pocket for mandatory tests at an inflated cost. I am glad I switched.
